The Silikomart Carota 20 silicone mould produces 12 realistic miniature carrot bodies for creative sweet and savoury presentations. Designed with chef Viviana Varese for Silikomart’s Naturae collection, its tapered form and natural surface details bring a familiar vegetable shape into modern cuisine. Therefore, it suits appetisers, tasting menus, catered events and plated desserts.

Each cavity measures 78 × 23 × H23 mm and holds 20 ml. With 12 cavities, the mould provides a total capacity of 240 ml. Moreover, the uniform layout helps professional kitchens control portions and reproduce consistent results across multiple batches.

Use Carota 20 for vegetable mousses, savoury creams, frozen preparations, chocolates, ganache and other compatible mixtures. Chefs can apply orange glaze, coloured cocoa butter or velvet spray to strengthen the carrot-like appearance. However, the mould creates only the carrot body; leafy tops and other decorative garnishes must be added separately.

For frozen preparations, fill each cavity evenly and freeze the mixture completely before demoulding. Gently peel the silicone away to preserve the tapered shape and surface details. In addition, place the mould on a flat, rigid tray before filling to improve stability during preparation and transport.

The silicone tolerates temperatures from approximately -60°C to +230°C. Consequently, it supports compatible oven, microwave, freezer and blast-chiller applications. Avoid direct flames, exposed heating elements and sharp utensils.
