Give a round cake a defined floral finish with the Silikomart Bliss mould. Each shallow cavity forms a flower with rounded petals and a raised centre. As the supplied dessert image shows, the decoration can sit on top of a glazed cake without hiding the cake’s smooth sides.

The mould has two cavities, each measuring Ø140 × H10 mm and holding 100 ml. Its total capacity is 200 ml, so you can make two matching toppers in one batch. First, place the mould on a flat tray. Then fill the flower cavities with a preparation suited to your dessert and level the exposed surface.

Once the decorations have set, gently flex the silicone to release the petal detail. Next, position a flower on your cake and add a small accent to its centre. You can vary the colour or finish to match the flavour beneath it. For example, the pictured cake pairs a pale, textured flower with a glossy yellow glaze.
