Create a dessert log with a distinctive quilted finish using the Silikomart Kit Bûche Matelassé. This two-piece kit pairs a silicone bûche mould with the Matelassé texture mat. Its diamond pattern and fine dotted lines add detail across the curved surface, giving the finished dessert a complete look with minimal extra decoration.

First, fit the mat inside the mould. Then fill it with your chosen mousse, semifreddo or other preparation suited to the recipe. Once the dessert has set firmly, release the mould and peel away the mat carefully to reveal the pattern. Add fruit, chocolate or a small garnish to finish the presentation without hiding the texture.

The mould produces a log measuring 250 × 90 × H70 mm and holds 1,300 ml. You can also use the mould without the texture mat when you prefer a smooth surface for glazing or decoration. Separately, the flexible mat can impress its pattern onto a suitable decorative sheet, as shown in the application image.
