TEX07 MAGIC WOOD – 250×185 MM SILICONE TEXTURE MAT | SILIKOMART~ITALY

Create the look of a carved log with the Silikomart TEX07 Magic Wood silicone texture mat. Its flowing grain and raised knots give a bûche a detailed surface. The pattern adds character even when you keep the decoration simple.

First, place the mat inside a compatible bûche mould. Position its textured side towards the dessert mixture so the pattern transfers to the surface. Next, fill the mould with your chosen preparation. Follow your recipe’s instructions for setting or baking the dessert. Once it is ready, remove the dessert from the mould. Gently peel away the mat to reveal the wood grain.

The texture suits festive yule logs and other log-shaped desserts. In addition, a velvet spray can bring out the lines and knots. You can add berries or chocolate decorations for a more colourful finish. A simple garnish also works well when you want the texture to take centre stage.

The Silikomart TEX07 Magic Wood mat gives you a consistent pattern without carving the dessert by hand. Finally, pair it with a compatible bûche mould to create the finished shape. The bûche mould is sold separately.
