Give a centrepiece cake a strong visual pattern with the Silikomart Vague mould. Its concentric waves travel from the centre towards the edge, creating depth across the surface before you add any decoration. The design also gives you a natural place to position a small central garnish.

The single cavity measures Ø200 × H45 mm and holds 1100 ml. Fill it with mousse or another preparation suited to your recipe, then add an insert or sponge base if you want contrasting layers. Once the cake has set, flex the silicone carefully to release the wave pattern.

Next, finish the dessert with velvet spray to emphasise the ridges, as shown in the green cake image. Alternatively, choose a glaze that suits your presentation. A small dome or other decoration can sit in the centre while leaving the surrounding waves visible.
