Make a Charlotte-style cake without arranging individual biscuits around its sides. The Silikomart SFT181 Charlotte silicone mould forms the familiar rounded border as part of the cake itself, while its open centre leaves space for cream, fruit or another finish.
First, fit the Safe Ring around the mould to support its flexible sides. Then add your batter and place the mould on a baking tray, as shown in the preparation image. After the cake has cooled, gently flex the silicone to release the shaped border. Finally, fill or decorate the centre to suit your recipe. The serving image shows a cake topped with cream, strawberries and mint.
